“Through discipline, comes freedom” – Aristotle
It is impossible to achieve anything in life without discipline.
Organisation and discipline go hand in hand to form the foundation for success.
No matter what your dreams are, taking the time to develop these traits will turn you into a winner.
Do you feel like you’re under achieving in your life?
Are you lacking purpose in your day to day?
Victor Pride’s 30 Days of Discipline could be the answer you’re looking for!
What is 30 Days of Discipline?
30 Days of Discipline is an ebook by Victor Pride of Bold & Determined.
He describes it as the ‘boot camp for winners’.
It is a collection of 12 habits that, if applied over the course of 30 days, will help you develop the following and more:
- Fat loss
But these are merely side effects.
For the main goal of this book is to turn you into somebody that gets stuff done. Somebody who sets goals, and achieves them no matter what.
Who it’s for?
30 Days of Discipline is for anyone who wishes to develop self-discipline & willpower.
Do you feel like you’re lacking control in your life?
Do you feel like you are underachieving?
Are you the kind of person who types ‘How to organise your life?’ into Google?
Are you a ‘wisher’, instead of a ‘doer’?
This is how you fix it.
Your daily habits end up defining you. Habits become routines, and routines become your life. The only way to achieve your goals is to work towards them every day, as part of your daily routine.
If you read my other posts on morning and evening routines respectively, you can definitely incorporate the habits found in 30 Days of Discipline into these routines. In fact, if you’re struggling to come up with a few ‘Want to’s’ for your routines, then 30 Days of Discipline could be exactly what you need.
I came across this ebook when I needed direction myself, and I can say that it works.
But only if you apply it!
Like anything in life, you must take action if you want the results.
What you need to know
The book overall is relatively brief. I was hoping for the content to be a bit more fleshed out, and for the challenges to have different levels of difficulty. I understand that the author did this intentionally however, to cut out all the unnecessary stuff and to get to the point.
The habits themselves are nothing new, and I was already implementing a number of them in my own life prior to getting this book. I do find it a great resource to come back to though. It’s good to have a flick through every now and then to get back on track when I fall off the wagon a bit.
Carrying on from my last point, I found the challenges to be quite basic. Everyone is going to be starting at different levels and some readers may need to make a few of the challenges more difficult, for example, the fitness aspects of the course. Others may need to make some habits a little easier, at least at first. If there are habits in there that aren’t relevant to what you’re trying to achieve, substitute them for ones that are.
Another point to note is that the author can sound a bit ‘bro-y’ at times, which may turn some people off. As long as you take it for what it is it shouldn’t be a problem, as it is geared towards a young, male audience. Despite that, the author does have a way of getting you fired up and motivated to improve you life.
If you feel like you could be achieving more in your life I highly suggest checking 30 Days of Discipline out. While not without its drawbacks, following the suggested habits will make you feel like a winner, and that alone is worth the purchase.
